My boyfriend likes to drink. I am a vegan. Is this a good mix?

Does anyone (a nutritionist, healthcare professional) know if it is okay to drink alcohol if you are a strict vegan? My boyfriend likes to drink socially. I prefer not to drink but I am willing to indulge him and myself. Every other aspect of our relationship is wonderful but I hate the fact that he tries to get me to drink with him all the time. Is there such thing as vegan alcohol? Is it okay to drink certain alcoholic beverages if you are a vegan? I am a vegan because I like how it makes me feel. I don't drink or smoke because I don't like how the two activities make me feel or look. Advice anyone...

I don't know what to do

I hear voices. They're always watching me, and the things I do. I feel ashamed when I get unchanged or want to do anything personal. They make fun of me, and think it's funny if I get angry with them back. They trick me at every turn and think its hilarious. I makes me hate myself, and I get so frustrated I cry, but after a while I can't even cry anymore because it feels pointless- that would just be funny too. Because I am self conscious and expect the worst sometimes they tell me I like what they're saying, that I am 'asking for it'. I feel so low and depressed, not just because of this but because of loads of other things in my life too. Noone takes me seriously though if I try and talk. They just say that I refuse to be helped, don't listen and don't do anything to help myself. They say I don't make sense so I try and explain but they don't want to listen, I'm just attention seeking I suppose. I despair several times each day to the point where I don't fee like I can even move my body. I feel as if I went any lower I would stop breathing and float away. I want to get up but can't. The when I do I have been so low in my mind that I feel spaced out, sic and dizzy. I am on a self destruct path as well. I wanted to lose weight but because food is such a comfort i gave up dieting and just started eating constantly, anything and everything I can find. No matter how bad it gets noone ever knows, I'm just stuck here at home in this quiet, dead house.

Hello. I am a 15 year old boy. I have always felt different to everyone, I avoid going out where possible, I fear asking people things in case I am rejected by them and I get anxious around people. After researching these I came across a few mental illnesses that could be applicable to me but (because I really don't want to go to a doctor about it) I just asumed that I had it but now my head feels dirty and unclean and I can't tell between what's real and what's not. So recently I tried desperately searching for a problem I could have that would explain everything so I could feel cleaner mentally, but that's just lead me to convincing myself I have problems. My (real) symptoms are: social isolation, anxiety, feeling of being worthless and unseless and no help to anybody, little or no distinction between reality and what's not real, being sad worthless and upset one time then another very energetic and ambitious, thoughts of hurting myself, feeling of wanting to destroy things and sort of "explode" during my energetic phases. Are these normal for my age or something more. My symptoms (both the real ones I've described and the ones I think are fake but are not sure) interfere with my daily life. Missing parts for browning buckmark?

Demonic disturbances... is there any advice anybody could lend me?

From when I was just a toddler (maybe about 3-4 years old), I could remember this one particular and repetitive nightmare. Upon waking up from it, I'd be terrified. Then I'd hear noises. (sounded like something heavy being dragged on the carpet floor.) It'd all end up w/ me crying til my mother came into the room. Anyhow, this goes on for nights and nights and nights til one night upon waking up from the same repetitive nightmare, I saw the entity of what has been haunting me. I was petrified. I wouldn't cry out. I didn't have the nerve to even move, but rather just to look it in the eye. It definitely wasn't human. There's no question at all whether it was a demon or not. However, since my family and I moved out and into a different apartment, I haven't encountered these disturbances time being into that new apartment. Years past on, then we moved out and moved into a house. As time flew, I have pretty much forgotten about that experience I had as a toddler that one night in that apartment. I was maybe about 10-11 years old when it happened again in the house we were living in. I heard that same noise (something heavy being dragged on the carpet floor). I was so frightened remembering the same experience years ago. I cried til my father came into the room. At that age, I didn't really know how to explain what was bothering me. At that time, I thought I'd only be thought as crazy. Maybe I am crazy. However, I'm 20 years old now and now I'm stationed in Korea. At night, only when I go to bed, I hear noises. Not those same noises I was talkin about, but just like as if there's something tapping on the counter, on the walls, and sometimes on the door. I actually got up once to answer the door because I thought someone was at the door. I'm very scared that I'll start hearing those same noises again from that apartment. To me it just seems like no matter where I go, even if it's across the globe, there'll always be something w/ me. Something's watching over me and is just waiting at the perfect time to strike again. Every night, I pray to God when my heart's racing and it calms me. The thing is, it's that every night, I absolutely have to pray to God in order for what ever I may think is w/ me to go away. It won't go away all together and forever. Is there anything anyone can advise to extract this this complication from my life? Or am I just crazy and I should probably go see a doctor?

9 Week old GSD. Food?

I have been giving him Iams puppy food for large breed dogs 3 times a day. In the morning I mix in a little canned Iams. He randomly throws up. Last week he threw up a lot on one day. Then a couple days ago he did it again. Today same story. First consistency is just puffed up wet food. Then it got a little darker then it was just fluid. In one hours time he threw up four times. He doesn't act sick though. It's weird! Called the Vet and she suggested mixing some cooked rice and cooked chicken or turkey and feed him that - which I have prepared and will do. I'm not sure of the ratio - how much rice and how much chicken? Any suggestions? Anyone experienced this with a puppy? We got him at six weeks - he came from a horrible puppy mill - he's been to the Vet once - no shots but did get dewormed for hook worms. She also gave me probiotics to sprinkle on his food for ten days...I did. He handled that well....he goes back to the Vet tomorrow for a check up and whatever shots/deworming needs to be done.

Here is the problem: I went to go see a 1996 Acura Integra yesterday that I had found on craigslist. I have the car fax report and the car has only ever failed one of about 12 emissions tests and when it failed, it had been 9 years ago. Since then every emissions test it’s been through has ped. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Acura Integras as well, like they last a long time if taken care of. The car in all will only cost me about 2600. the Rebel is a VERY forgiving bike, easy to ride, lightweight, excellent bike to learn on. I suggested to my husband that he spent his unemployment time learning a new trade but he's been told by the job centre he is not entitled to go on any courses because he is not on benefits of any kind. In addition he travels up to 100 miles round trip to go to interviews for non-existent jobs and no travel expenses are available. Because I work full time we cannot get anything no matter what wage I earn, but I still have to support all these fruitless journeys to jobs where they are hoping to get contracts within the next few months if things take off. One might think why bother going into the job centre every other week just to get a �2.40 stamp paid, well there is a very good reason, if he doesn't do it, he drops off the government unemployed figures, anyone think all this is deliberate to stop people from being clified unemployed? Equally, does anyone have any genuine ideas on a way ahead? We cant afford to pay for him to go to college.

I was entering the turnpike in PA, I rode on the outside lane, and then merged into the front to cut down on the amount of time i had to wait. Sure it is rude, and unfair to the other drivers that wait patiently, but is it illegal. I didnt swerve around other cars, I slowly waited for a break in traffic, made eye contact with the car that was next, got the wave, and merged in. Then i got pulled over and was told i was driving recklessly...the ticket states: "OTHER: defendant cut off other vehicles entering turnpike on-ramp". is this illegal. i've never heard of this. at any exit ive ever seen, there is a line of car trying to "cheat" by sneaking to the front of the line.

I just baught a SAMSUNG S730 digital camara, I installed the software and drivers that came with the camara but the camara still will not load the pics onto my computer. Well after Larry(mil's first husband) got out of prison he got married to some woman named deb and i guess she wasn't doing everyting he wanted so he contacted sherry(my mil) and she talked to him and he came over to visit to see his real son, my husband isn't his kid so. Well less than a month later he come's to the house wanting to talk to all of us and he ended up leaving deb and moved in here with sherry,my husband,his brother,and i, and i'm also expecting our first child. But in 5 or 6 months my husband and i will have our own house. Right now we are paying them rent and grocery's. But the point is he's been here for about not even 2 months and he acts like he own's the place and no one can joke with him without him getting mad,he's bossy now,and yesterday he yelled at everyone yes even me, when all i did was clean the house b/c i was bored and was tired of it being dirty. Tell me aint that stupid or what? Then he yells at sherry b/c sherry asked him a simple question and he just flipped out. He flipped out on my husband's brother to the point where he went to his Gf's house to stay 3 night's with her, and i can't go anywhere b/c i'm on bedrest b/c i'm having contractions very early i'm only 6 month's pregnant. I was fine untill he became a jerk, i had to quite my job b/c the doc told me to but ever since i let my job go i've been doing everything around here,and everyone but him has a problem with it. I get yelled at from him if i do nothing and if i do something i get yelled at from my husband,my mil,my brother in law,and my doc. So i'm like what am i suppost to do. My mil put her foot down last night and she told him like it is but you know what he said " if you want me to go i'll leave" and sherry replyed saying " i don't want you to leave but i do want the bullshit to stop" but there were fighting all last night but my husband and i fell asleep at 9pm so i don't know what all was said and done but everything is just getting on our nerves, hell we can't even get breakfast in the morning without him being nosey and rude, it's not like he's buying them or cleaning around here. He don't rule this house, sherry does and what she say's goes, but he aint falling for that and he's getting more of an atitude with everyone, so that's why i'm on here to ask for some advice, so if anyone has advice or comments please do so. BTW: i asked my husband this morning if larry was abusive in the past and he told yes, he threw sherry accross the kitchen and hit her on the stove,and he was also verbally abusive,but i told my husband if he even threaten's to hit me or her or anyone in that matter i am calling the cops on his ***. I lived with people like that before and i am not putting up with it again. So we have to live with this bullshit for anoher 5 or 6 months but hopefully sooner we can get out of here, or he'll leave either one of the two. Advice?

I have learned that one of the most important things in life is a level of skepticism. I understand that you don't want to cross your professor but the best thing that I do is keep an open mind to what they're side is (they have strong reasons why they believe so), stick to the facts when explaining my side, not get too pionate about it, and just agree to disagree. People with opinions that strong aren't going to change how they think if they don't want to no matter what you do. As for the placement of opinions by professors... it's their clroom and that's where your skepticism comes into play just don't readily believe it. Ultimately though, it's their cl and your grade in their hands so I let them have the power for a little while if its not directly hurting anyone.

Gaining weight fast and metabolism?

I recently began seeing a nutritionist to help me recover from an eating disorder. She has been increasing my calories by 300 for the past few weeks. I'm currently at 2,100 and have been at this amount since Saturday. However, in less than a week, I have gained two pounds, gaining one pound over the last two days. Is this possible, or could it be water weight or something like that? My stomach does look a lot more bloated. Ok, my dog's almost got into a fight Tuesday evening. I was there so it didn't get very bad. But one did manage to bite the other. It isn't vey bad, just a small laceration on her chin/neck area. I've got cephalexin(infection pills) that was leftover from the multiple trips to the vet for different reasons. Installed Windows Live Onecare after a rec from a friend for the antivirus aspect, and after it was up and working, the next time I tried to play a media file I was told that I needed to validate my version of the windows media player. Apparently it did not p validation (?) and I haven't been able to play Windows media files since! Ford CVH engine, OIl coming out of air box?

I have a Ford Orion with a cvh engine, There is oil getting in the air box, I have replaced the breather pipes as i know this can cause the problem, But there is still alot of oil getting in and covering the air filter. I have some knowledge of the cvh so i can do most basic things to it, Would an oil change help as it was owned by an elderly gent before us and im not sure how well it was looked after. Thanks

MTG regeneration VS -1/-1 counters question?

Now the rule for regenerate says that wen a creature is regenerated it removes all Damage counters on it. But what if for example im using a 2/2 creature that has a regenerate shield on it and my opponent places 2 -1/-1 counters on it, now wen regenerate kicks in what happens to those -1/-1 counters sense if the creature "regenerates" what happens to those counters sense technically if it keeps them it will regenerate as a 0/0 creature and die again

my husband purchase the Medela electric pump for our first child and it worked great. The thing to remember is with a manual you have to do the work but with the electric you dont especially when your milk supply is just starting to come in it can be difficult to pump. Its not the most pleasant feeling in the world I think i felt it in my toes.

Bike won't start. Bad solenoid?

My 1984 Honda Magna won't start. Battery is fully charged, electrical seems to be working fine, runs great after I push start it. The starter solenoid is making a loud click when I hit the starter on. Is it safe to ume that replacing the solenoid will fix this problem?

My GSD enjoys lying down in the bathtub?

I have a young female GSD who loves water and will hop in the bathtub and just lie down in there for a while. It's pretty funny because all my dogs have hated it when I try to get them in the bathtub for a bath, but she hops right in without thinking twice. Anyone else here have a dog or know a dog who likes the bathtub. It doesn't matter if it's cold outside she still hops in, so I don't think she's doing it to stay cool. She loves water and tries to lick it up, could that be a reason? She also is safe from our other GSD in there since our other female is afraid to go in the bathroom. Maybe it's a safe spot for her? The military is in shorter supply of medical doctors than soldiers. If you want to serve your country and your friends, plan to complete your medical training and apply for a direct commission. Thus, by completing your medical training you are serving the greatest needs of your country and friends. And who knows, once you've completed your education and residency, your country and friends may need you more as a civilian rather than a military physician. Only time will tell.

My dad used to be a violent alcoholic; I'm talking emotional and verbal abuse, breaking things, being VERY angry and frightening. He went to rehab more than once. He also was a cocaine addict. He finally became clean and sober when I was 12. I am now almost 25. My parents finally divorced a few years ago and my dad remarried. As far as I knew, he had not had a sip for 13 years. Well, his birthday party was yesterday in the early afternoon. He drank STIFF screwdrivers all day and he got absolutely trashed. He was "life of the party" drunk, telling stories, being ridiculous. He slurred his words and often misspoke (he called his mother his grandmother and he called her my great-grandmother and was like "Wait!! Wait... that's not right! She's...yeah she's my grandmother.") It was the elephant in the room for those of us who knew about his past, but many people (including his new wife) have NO idea. Should I be worried about this? Is he spiraling back into this addiction? Or do recovered alcoholics have the ability to drink again without relapsing?

Why am I gaining weight and not losing any while working out?

I've been doing traditional Shaolin Kung Fu for about 3-4 weeks now and I've actually gained about 5lbs. I changed the weight I eat drastically, I cut out all fast food from my life and started eating canned tuna and various low cal/low fat pre-made meals. (lean cuisine/weight watchers) I decreased my fat/cal intake and upped my protein a great deal. I quit drinking soft drinks and started drinking water, usually intake about 4-5 20oz bottles a day. My work outs usually include about 10 minutes of intense cardio, lots of sprinting and jumping. 10 minutes of stretching and about another 40 minutes of various Shaolin exercises. Sometimes we hold a certain position until point of exhaustion in the legs and then move to a new position and do the same. My thighs are usually on fire by the end of cl, so I know i'm working the hell out of the muscles. I normally leave cl drenched with perspiration b/c we are doing such intense routines. After cl I drink a smoothie with roughly 45g of protein and 5g of L-glutemine and take an Omega-3 fish pill as per a nutritionists advice to aid in muscle regeneration so I'm not so sore after workouts. I'm 5'10 and previously weighed 175, now I'm 181. Any thoughts?

In my point of view Enrique did not die (well eventually he would of course but not from a beheading) I think that was symbolic just like when he stretched his arms out to "work."
