Atheists; why do some people reject all worldly pleasures for the sake of Jesus..?

You can't find any logic behind this since you don't believe in God. But, do you think people will do it for nothing? Every act of human beings is with the hope to get something in return. What do these people get by depriving themselves off of all worldly pleasures?
