Has anybody seen the movie EL NORTE?

To question the meaning behind that scene is pretty brave lol I don't mean to sound pretencious. Movies like "El Norte" are very symbolic and it all is left to interpretation. In my point of view Enrique did not die (well eventually he would of course but not from a beheading) I think that was symbolic just like when he stretched his arms out to "work." Becoming exactly as predicted "arms to work" and his brain, his ideas, his dreams, everything that made ENRIQUE who he was was detached from "himself" and he became just strength, he was only his "body." His life in the United States of America beheaded him. That is what I understood from this film.
